District Ushers Mission Statement
We, the Ushers of the First District Association, are representatives of Christ, the First District, and our local churches. We are to be doorkeepers in the house of the Lord and enhance the body of Christ by warmly greeting all who enter into worship services in the house of the Lord.
In us the hospitality of God should be seen.
We are here to serve and assist the District moderator, staff, and pastors during all sessions of the First District.
Psalms 84: 10 states, “For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than dwell in the tents of wickedness.”
WELCOME
We the members of the First District Usher Ministry would like to welcome you to our Usher Ministry. It is our responsibility to serve on our post of duty during all District Sessions and services. On the first Saturday of each month, we come together to prepare for upcoming events, training and teaching. Come and be a part of us as we lift up the name of Jesus by serving others.
